A welding repair bot - BURN-E - finds his daily routine disrupted with the arrival of rubbish disposal robot WALL-E. While attempting to carry out simple repairs on an exterior light, he is constantly thwarted by the comings-and-goings of the lovelorn WALL-E, resulting in him losing one lamp in space and cutting another off with his blowtorch.
