Skint Liverpool cabbies Tommy (Steven Waddington) and Gerry (Paul Barber) make a dodgy deal with local gangster Tony Fitz (Mark Womack) in order to fund a trip to the Champions League Final in Istanbul. Accompanied by their sons, the pair set off on an adventure that involves dodgy tickets touts, an over-amenable police woman and a run-in with Turkish hoodlums chasing a bag of cash. Writer Nicky Allt adapts his hit play for the silver screen.
