Lindsay Lohan gives an acclaimed performance as Tara, the bisexual girlfriend of smug Los Angeles trustafarian Christian (played by real-life porn star James Deen). Christian is a wannabe director who discovers that Tara still has the hots for her old boyfriend Ryan (Nolan Funk), the star of his low-budget slasher movie. Fuelled by jealousy, the rich kid plots his revenge. Director Paul Schrader (American Gigolo, Cat People) salaciously adapts Brett Easton Ellis's dark script on a reported budget of just $250,000.
