It's one small step for Geordie-kind as lovable TV scamps Ant (McPartlin) and Dec (Donnelly) aim for the stars as two hoaxers in this outlandish true story. They play two chancers who fooled the world with a home-made movie in which they chopped up a fake alien. The hoax works less successfully here, as a potentially uproarious big-screen idea is squashed flat by tame, made-for-TV execution.
