When bored Pumpkin King Jack Skellington stumbles into Christmastown, he's so taken with the idea of Yuletide that he rallies the residents of Halloweentown to put on Christmas instead of Halloween... But as you'd expect from a bunch of bats, ghouls and goblins, they can't get the festive thing quite right. From the fantastically skewed imagination of Tim Burton comes an off-kilter animated fantasy like few others, directed with a similarly warped sensibility by Henry Selick (Coraline).
