When gravely ill Billy (Bobby Coleman) and his two best friends make a discovery in the snow, they become instant local celebrities. Determined to stay in the limelight and give Billy lasting fame, they decide to set a new world record. What they need is a bit of help and a lot of snow; what they don't need is emotional parents and big fat bullies. Ray Liotta and Christopher Lloyd play well alongside their younger co-stars (including Role Models whippersnapper Bobb'e J Thompson) to make this an engaging and heartfelt tale.
