Two eleven-year-olds - both played by Lindsay Lohan - meet on holiday, find they are identical twin sisters and plot to reunite their divorced parents (Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson). Lohan shows bags of youthful promise in shouldering this entertaining remake of the 1961 Hayley Mills original. Trading off English and American accents, and flouncing through as many costume changes as there were in Evita (both films having the same costume designer), Lohan easily convinces that the two girls could switch places and play off their gullible parents.
